Saturday, January 11, 2020, the Hornet Powerlifting team traveled to Southwest Legacy High School.  It was a great day for the Hornets. Both the Boys and Girls team earned the Team Champion Awards. Chloe Canales and David Guajardo earned Best Lifter Awards.  Ten of our eleven boys earned points for their Championship and eight of our eleven girls earned points for their Championship. In total the Hornets took home 6 Golds 2 Silver, and 7 Bronze medals.

On Saturday, January 18, 2020, the Hornets Powerlifting team traveled to Buda Hays High School.  In another good performance the girl’s team finished with the 2nd place team award.  The boys team finished 4th, just four points from winning a team award.  Six girls and six boys earned points for their team.  In total the Hornets took home 2 Gold, 5 Silver, and 1 Bronze medals.
